*Season 7 Supernatural Spoiler Ahead*
Well it seems Supernatural season 7 has gotten off on an EXTREMELY rocky start. The fans have been up in arms since episode one. And so far I've got to agree. Sera's work just doesn't stand up to Kripke's. But so far this season really seems to top last season for the worst of all the seasons.
I really have to wonder what that crazy woman is thinking! She's going to end up ruining the show Kripke made so amazing with the way she's going. If Sera doesn't start watching it she's going to end up losing a large chunk of the Supernatural viewers.
From what I've been reading of the reviews around the net she's already on thin ice as it is with the fans. Her current big bads (the Leviathans) don't seem to be up to snuff. Add that to the fact that she seems to have killed Cas off to give the Leviathan boss his body (Turning Misha into a simple guest star) and you have some pretty pissed off fans ready to turn off their tv's if she doesn't get her act together.
A percent of viewers that she can't afford to lose since she lost quite a few last season when she took over the show from Kripke. Supernatural went from having an ravage of 2.64 million viewers during season 5 when Kripke ran the show down to 2.47 million after Sera took over. Which were the lowest ratings of any of the Supernatural seasons. And now with her seemingly booting out Cas from the show those ratings are probably going to take a nose dive if he's not brought back.
So all in all if the woman's out to sabotage the show then she definitely on the right track! She seems to be loosing fans left and right the longer she keeps this crap she's got going up. If she doesn't end up bringing Cas back then this might just be the last season for Supernatural. I'm really not sure if the show would be able to survive losing that many fans.
But I swear the woman HAD to know that taking away one of the fans favorite characters would cost her a large chunk of viewers. It's stupidity! You don't take away someone that makes people tune into a show! The goal is to get people to watch the show not turn it off!
